I am an abstract landscape painter. A trip to Central Australia first moved me to attempt to capture some essence of the landscape and its impact.

Over the decades that followed, spending time camping in the wild and remote deserts, plains and coast of Australia I am continually drawn to the duality of fragility and enduring.

My paintings are grounded in memory and experience of place, distilling into visual form my response to landforms and ecology.

I work primarily with oils.
